The Third Dynamic Part Needed for Learning and Studying:

What is a Goal?

Closely connected with responsibility is the process of a goal. I declare a goal to be a process of life because it is, at its most fundamental core, a practice of development of life, with life.

Naturally, these two core aspects of life (goal and responsibility) are intimately connected because they produce focus toward meaning and purpose in life. Meaning that, the pursuit of goals and responsibilities in life create meaning and purpose in life.

In other words, one perspective of life is that a person does not search or find meaning in life. Instead, a person creates meaning and purpose in life by the willingness to be involved in the process, or practice, of free-will chosen goals and responsibilities.

However, there is a critical distinction of order that must be addressed. Mainly that, without a deliberate goal in life, a person cannot be deliberate in their responsibilities in life. Clearly, the order matters, because quality of life becomes a huge problem when a person is unable to establish, and carry out, deliberate interconnected responsibilities in life.

Hence, understanding the intricacies surrounding a goal will be crucial for studying and for learning—and, for life in general.

For this reason, having at least an approximate definition of a goal; and a rough outline of the process involved in creating a goal, are vital. At this point, I will only state an approximate definition of a goal.

3. What is a Goal?

Goal is the practice of using free-will to choose an action, an objective or a result in reality to pursue and/or accomplish with life.

The Core of Any Goal

An extremely important detail to point out is that process and practice in life—with respect to a goal—are heavily dependent on faith. No matter if a person is an atheist or a believer, or nowhere in between. It is a subtle point to address, but a tremendously useful weight to lift in a person’s expectation, value and willpower toward any goal.

In greater detail, here is that key subtle faith aspect of any goal that every person must choose to act upon, without much or any scientific proof.

The Core of Any Goal:

For any discrete, clearly defined goal in a person’s life, there must exist a series of supporting intermediate discrete goals that interconnect toward the main goal, from any given starting point in a person’s life.

Granted, some goals are more costly (faith level, time, effort, money, investment of life, etc.) than others. This is where individual honesty and free-will play an integral part in the selection and pursuit of any goal. Note, this selection process will be addressed in the next dynamical part needed for learning and studying.
